Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs, summer collegiate baseball team, are proud to announce that Steve Granado will be the newest addition to our front office staff as our Play By Play Broadcaster. All Tobs home games will be streamed online and on channel 2 in the Wilson area.
Granado brings five years of play by experience across eight sports including three seasons in Minor League Baseball to the broadcast. A native of Southern California, Granado is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton who has called over 400 games during his career.
"Myself and the Tobs family are very excited and lucky to have Steve join us this summer. His energy, professionalism, play by play, and sports knowledge is second to none. This summer's Tobs broadcast and media department will be one of the best in all of summer collegiate baseball. Anyone following our marketing outlets and broadcast are in for a real treat," Tobs' General Manager Mike Bell expressed.
"I'm excited for the opportunity to be the new voice of the Tobs. To be a part of this community and talk baseball on a near nightly basis is a true blessing and I can't wait for all the fun we're going to have this summer," Granado said.

The Tobs enter their 23rd season as a founding member of the Coastal Plain League. The upcoming season for the Tobs will see an expanded community outreach effort, increased participation in helping the less fortunate, a Pettit Cup Championship team, and more exciting entertainment for the Wilson Community. We would like to dedicate each successful season to the Wilson Community, Coastal Plain League Organization, Host Families, Corporate Partners, and the Dedicated Fans throughout the city of Wilson. The Wilson Tobs have played host to over 100 alumni taken in the draft and have produced a dozen players who have gone on to play in the MLB, including Cy Young & MVP winner Justin Verlander.
