    WILSON, N.C. – Kevin McGowan’s two-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted the Wilson Tobs to 6-5 victory at home on Sunday night against the Asheboro Copperheads at Historic Fleming Stadium. The Tobs have won six straight games (five at home) dating back to June 12th.

    WILSON, N.C. –  A late rally in game one followed by some early offense in game two helped the Wilson Tobs to record a pair of victories against the Martinsville Mustangs on Saturday night at Historic Fleming Stadium. The Tobs were victorious 5-2 in game one and 6-0 in game two.

    WILSON, N.C. – Despite having to wait 13 days between starts, Tyler Grauer tossed five innings of scoreless baseball against the Edenton Steamers on Thursday night at Historic Fleming Stadium. The Tobs plated five runs in the fourth inning en route to a 12-2 victory against the Steamers.
  • Frick’s double sparks rally for Wilson in 7-3 win

    WILSON, N.C. – Wilmington’s Danny Wondrack delivered a first inning three-run home run for the Sharks, but it wouldn’t be enough in the end as Wilson plated four runs in the fifth inning to complete the 7-3 comeback for its fourth win of the season. The Tobs tallied a season-high 11 hits in the winning effort on Tuesday night at Historic Fleming Stadium.
  • Salamanders early offense sinks Tobs 13-4

    WILSON, N.C. –  Two five-run innings would be more than enough offense for the Holly Springs Salamanders on Sunday night against the Wilson Tobs. The Salamanders plated a season-high 13 runs as they handed the Tobs a nine-run loss at Historic Fleming Stadium.

Reliever Luis Acosta closed the door on the Steamers in the ninth inning to snap a three-game losing streak in Coastal Plain League action.

    MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. – The Wilson Tobs battled back from an early 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 lead against Morehead City on Wednesday night but it wouldn’t be enough as the Marlins rallied against the Tobs and Mother Nature for a 5-3 victory at Big Rock Stadium in a Coastal Plain League matchup.

    EDENTON, N.C. – Tyler Grauer fanned 10 Edenton batters through five innings on Friday night as the Tobs won their second straight contest, 7-1, against the Steamers in a Coastal Plain League matchup. The Tobs erased an early 1-0 deficit by scoring two runs in the top of the second inning.
  • Brooks’ grand slam leads Tobs past Peninsula, 6-2

    WILSON, N.C. – Wilson Tobs third baseman Drew Brooks sent a 0-1 pitch over the wall in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie on Thursday night against the Peninsula Pilots at Historic Fleming Stadium. The four-run frame propelled the Tobs to a 6-2 victory against the Pilots on Throwback Thirsty Thursday and Wilson Chamber Night.
  • Stars rally late to down Tobs, 5-4

    WILSON, N.C. – A pair of eighth-inning runs by the Catawba Valley Stars would cap a late rally for the visitors on Tuesday night in 5-4 win at Historic Fleming Stadium. The Wilson Tobs held a pair of leads in the contest but would be unable to onto a 4-3 advantage late in the contest. Fans enjoyed the first Tobs All You Can Eat Tuesday of the season courtesy of Da Bayou.
  • Tobs win home opener 7-6 in comeback fashion against Fuquay-Varina

    WILSON, N.C. – The Wilson Tobs welcomed over 3,200 into Historic Fleming Stadium on Sunday night for its 2018 home opener against the Fuquay-Varina Twins of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League. The Tobs would send the crowd home happy following a 7-6 victory against the Twins along with a post-game firework show courtesy of Thomas Law.
