    Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs Baseball Club is honored to announce that Tobs staff member Robert Beare was named the 2018 CPL Scorekeeper of the Year. This was Beare's first season with the Tobs and the eighth year the CPL has named a Scorekeeper of the Year.

The Tobs would fall just short of reaching the Petitt Cup Championship as Morehead City recorded a 4-2 victory in the NorthEast Region Championship game.

Despite scoring a pair of runs in the ninth inning, Morehead City tallied a 4-2 victory.

    HAMPTON, Va. – Wilson Tobs starter Tyler Grauer tossed six innings of scoreless baseball on Sunday night in the Coastal Plain League North Division Championship against the Peninsula Pilots. The Tobs held-off a ninth-inning rally from the Pilots to secure a 4-3 victory and advance in the CPL Playoffs.

The resumed game would go an inning before the skies above opened up and force the tarp to cover the field.
